Australia GSE

G’dye Rotarians,

It is time to spread the word about this year’s GSE opportunity to SE Australia. As you know, Group Study Exchange is a service opportunity Rotary gives to young business and professional people – a vocational and cultural exchange, to learn in an international environment and stay with Rotarian family hosts.

We need your help to make this a successful year; and it will only take a few minutes. You are our best “eyes and ears” – please think about young business and professional people you know between 25 and 40 years old, and encourage them to apply.

Attached is a colorful flyer (PDF format), and two cover letters ready for you to use or adapt.
- one is worded for Rotarians you know (club, nearby area, or who you know from District functions)
- the other is designed to go to non-Rotarians:
? trade associations, professional organizations and occupational groups you are affiliated with, or which are in your area, so they can alert their members
? local governments, hospitals, and other institutions in your area
? Rotary Alumni (GSE, Ambassadorial Scholars, etc.)
? local media, newsletter writers, radio or TV talk shows, if you can; to pitch story ideas (Doug Porter, District 5100 Public Relations person, can send a news release to them, if you prefer. Contact him at 294-9795 or dougdom@hotmail.com.)

Please review the flyer, and be generous … share this program by sending several cover letters and flyers. Each may know of a perfect GSE candidate, if only we ask them.

Yours in Rotary Service
