DISTRICT 4400 PROJECT FAIR–QUITO

Dear Club President,

We are very much pleased to extend to your Club our invitation to attend our Fourth Ecuador Project Fair, to be held at the J. W. Marriott Hotel in Quito, Ecuador on Friday, October 19th, and Saturday, October 20th, 2007.

A project fair is one of the Rotary programs which enables Clubs to find partners for developing international humanitarian projects.  During this two days event, visiting Rotarians will have the opportunity to meet Rotarians of our local Clubs and discuss their necessities and  projects, trying to reach an agreement for a joint work on them.  The personal relation and friendship established between Rotarians and Clubs of other countries with ours, will make it possible to materialize many projects to solve the needs of Ecuador’s poor communities.

Please consider this event as an opportunity for your Club to begin  or expand its work in international humanitarian projects.

For this fair we are offering the possibilty for visiting rotatians, who wish to do so,  to stay without cost at local rotarian homes and greatly enjoy the traditional ecuadorean hospitality.

Coming Rotarians will also have the opportunity to enjoy our beautiful country, by visiting our capital Quito, declared 27 years ago as Cultural Heritage of  Humanity because of its large and  spectacular historical center. Very nearby is the exact Middle of the World. Also available is an excursion to the worldwide known Galapagos Islands. Other options are a tour to the Amazonian jungle or an excursion to Otavalo, Cuenca and other attractions of our Andean highlands. Arrangements can be made for other destinations they may wish to visit.
