Here is an update for the Public Image Campaign in North America.
A full-page Rotary supplement will appear in the International Herald Tribune (Atlantic and Asia editions) and the New York Times tomorrow. This was a special arrangement we made with the NYT Company as part of our efforts to use our NGO status for special rate.
Starting in October, Rotarians in North America will start to see Rotary billboards on highways and airports. With the help of an agency, we have solicited FREE space for over 850 billboards in cities and towns across North America. The billboard will feature PolioPlus and Rotary centers.
Thanks to free donated ad space, you will also see Rotary ads appearing in Time, Newsweek, Forbes, Parenting, Golf Digest, Sports Illustrated and other magazines.
Rotary’s TV public service announcements will continue to air on United Airlines
Rotary’s TV public service announcements will continue to air (for free) on smaller stations across North America.
We have also obtained a grant with Google to use keyword link to promote Rotary’s PolioPlus program and the Rotary centers.
At the same time, clubs around the world will use the RI template and place their supplement in their own countries or regions during the next two weeks.
